State witnesses give up multiple bombs in Joshlin Smith’s process

Bay Saldanha – several bombs have been abandoned in the Joshlin Smith process this week, while two crucial witnesses for the state case testified against the accused.

Joshlin’s mother, Kelly Smith, Jacquen Appollis and Stevano Van Rhyn are experiencing charges of kidnapping and trafficking after the girl’s disappearance.

The accused is in court in the Western Cape court, sitting in the Multipurpose Center of Bay Saldanha.

Details about Smith’s alleged intends to sell Joshlin to a Sangoma for R20.000 Appeared in the trial this week.

Earlier this week, preacher Steven Coetzee told the court how Smith told her intention to sell her three children for R20.000.

Coetzee said that Smith’s plan to sell their children was already underway in August 2023, six months before Joshlin disappeared.

A former accused transformed the state witness, Lourencia Lombaard, then took the position on Friday to reveal how Smith told him he sold Joshlin.

Lombaard told the court how Smith’s witness was to take Joshlin to a woman in a white car dressed like a blegom on the day Joshlin disappeared.

She said she saw Smith leaving with Joshlin, but when she returned to Middelpos later that day, Joshlin disappeared.

Lombaard is about to continue his testimony on Monday.
