Testing of robbery at Naxxar residence, police still on the spot

A robbery took place earlier today at a Naxxar residence.

The robbery attempt happened in Triq Il-Busjett, Naxxar earlier this morning, the police receiving a suspicious activity report at 9.20.

A police spokesman told Maltatoday that information was still gathering, confirming that it was an attempt to rob.

The police are still on the spot while gathering more information, the spokesman said.

Maltatoday asked the police if it has any clue if this is connected to the robbery string that took place in Malta, however, they said: “It is still too early to determine.”
