Musk protesters were accused of demonstration Innisfil Tesla

“We love our car and its capabilities … but it is not satisfied with where (Musk),” says the owner Tesla who participated in the event on Saturday.

The dribbling sky did not diminish the determination of the protesters against Elon Musk at the Tesla dealer in Innisfil, including two Tesla owners on Saturday morning.

Simcoe South Police was handy and came to the organizers to say that they were there to make sure the situation remained peaceful.

Were a dozen to take part in protest.

Natasha Weese organized the event, and she said it was a person, not the company.

“If (Musk) he owns another company, I would protest there,” she said.

Weese said she is concerned about the environment and will consider an electric vehicle in the future. Her beef is with the attitude of the person she sees as an unprecedented power, especially for an unkempt person and has failed in the words of Donald Trump’s President about Canada.

“On February 25 this year, Musk wrote that Canada is not a country. Elon Musk decided to play a game. He jumped in the political arena, ”Weese said.

She was involved in protests before at Queen’s Park and other places, but never drove one.

“It is a thing for Canadians to beat this (words from Trump and Musk), and the protest is not baked in our DNA, but people are naive thinking what they say now could not affect our country on the road,” she said.

Weese is seen as a single voice, but it reminds people of what can be done by starting small.

“The living rooms, the marches for civil rights, the indigenous protests – they all shared in bringing the correctness and changes in the system,” she said.

Brad Fisher and Zoe Hilton came from Midland to Tesla to share their belief that the recent words from Musk are disturbing and I think they should resign from the company.

“We love our car and its capabilities. Not too many electrics can make a towing. I bought it in the summer of 2024 and I was around Ontario and Quebec. We do not get rid of it, but we are not satisfied with the place where (Musk) is, ”Fisher said.

After the protest, Weese said she was pleased with participation.

“I really thought no one would care, so I’m over the moon. I really thought it would be me, ”she said.

“What I liked about the participants was that everyone felt something different. I was very worried when the first people there jumped from a Tesla. Were they counter-protesters? And they were just as upset about Musk as me. “

Speaking to those who participated, everyone was excited to continue it, Weese noted.

“I start a WhatsApp group with those who participated today (to) see if we can continue it. People still contact me who have just learned and would like to be part of it, ”she said.

“Everyone wants to continue this feeling and I know we have the impulse.”
