A former Civil Employee of the Edmonton Police Service is experiencing several charges of sexual crimes against a minor, after drawing a 14-year-old boy through a social application.

In a press release on Friday, Edmonton police said the case returns in the summer of 2024, when the officers received a statement that a minor was sexually assaulted. The subsequent investigation determined detectives with the child protection section to claim that a man who used the Badlee handle on Snapchat committed sexual crimes against a 14 -year -old boy after using the social media platform, EPS said in the statement.
