Motorcyclist killed in a fatal vehicle accident on the southern side of the city


A motorcyclist was killed in a fatal traffic accident that took place in the southern part of the city.

According to CCPD Blotter, on Saturday, March 15, at 7:26 am, the officers were sent to the intersection of the airline and A Holly Road for a major traffic accident that involved a motorcycle.

The officers came to an accident with two vehicles between a truck and a motorcycle. Doctors transported the motorcycle driver, a 64-year-old man to the hospital, where he died later because of his wounds. The driver of the takeover was not injured.

Investigators with the traffic unit came that the takeover driver, while driving west on Holly Road, was trying to return south on the airway during a yellow arrow of intermittent turn. At the same time, the motorcyclist was traveling to the east on Holly Road through the intersection, when he was hit by Pickup, he states.

The driver of the pickup received a citation for non -compliance with the right – the left turn, but was not in a state of intoxication. It is not known if the motorcyclist wore a helmet.
