The accused man for attracting a minor, a public indecency and burglary

Savannah, Ga. (Woc) – the judicial documents from the Chatham District Lawyer’s office reveal that a man Savannah was charged for three separate charges; Attracting a child for indecent purposes, public indecent and two accusations of grade I.

Greg Maurice Williams, 45, was arrested by Savannah police, on December 11, 2024, in the 1000 block in the village of Yamacraw.

That arrest was the 35th arrest in Chatham County.

According to the true draft law of the great jury, Williams entered a house in Yamacraw “with the intention of committing a theft or a crime inside.” The document continues to read that Williams entered without a permit and stayed in the house before running away when he was confronted by the victim.

This indictment reveals that Williams would have entered a different apartment in Yamacraw, by breaking, without permission.

The real bill claims that Williams then illegally requested a male child under the age of 16 to engage in an indecent act with inappropriate questions about the boy’s young man’s linen.

Then, Williams performed an indecent act, according to the document, exposing themselves and performing sexual acts in front of the minor child.

In the same apartment, the document claims that Williams intends to commit a crime in the respective apartment by attracting a child for indecent purposes and public indecent- therefore, the great jury “truely invoiced” this additional burglary accusation in Grade 1.

As I mentioned, he has 34 different arrests before, dating from 1996.

Some note arrests include an accusation of public indecent in 2023, although most are related to drugs, along with many probation violations, robbery and theft charges.

After the big jury agrees with the indictment, the true invoiced indictments are delivered to the official who then load each indictment for each individual case and place them in a public folder. During this time, parts with impact (such as victims or families) are notified.

We will provide updates as they become available.
