Nizamabad: ACP L Raja Venkat Reddy was appointed the investigation officer (IO) by the Police Commissioner of Nizamabad (CP) in the alleged case of Custodial death of Alakunta Sampath.

He was arrested by the Cyber ​​Police on March 4 and died on the night of March 20, while he was a treatment at the General Government Hospital (GGH), Nizamabad.

Death determined the accusations from his relatives that the 31 -year -old, originally from the village of Anthargov from Peddapalli, was a victim of torture of freedom.

The cyber police in Nizamabad arrested Sampath based on a complaint that claimed that he had lured young unemployed from the rural in Thailand, Myanmar and Laos, where they were forced into cyber slavery.

Following the postmortem on Friday, evidence was sent to the legal science laboratory (FSL) in Hyderabad. The FSL report is essential in the investigation, as it will reveal internal wounds to the deceased.

ACP said that the single police in Nizamabad registered a case of unnatural death. The investigation will start on Sunday, he said, adding that all the documentary evidence will be studied and he will talk to the members of the deceased.

He added that the magistial investigation of the case was completed.
