Pocatello-a 34-year-old man, who was sent to prison in 2017 for sexually abused by a child was convicted on Thursday for an incident in 2024, where the police say he touched and sexually photographed a 15-year-old girl.

Logan Kaide Gabriel Kniffen was initially accused of two charges of sexual abuse of a child and attracted a child on the Internet.

The man accepted a pleading agreement in September, in which the state rejected the two charges of sexual abuse for a guilty plea for the accusation of attraction.

According to the reason, Kniffen will execute a five -year sentence and 10 indefinite years for a total of 15 years. The entrance is at least one year to a maximum of 15 years in prison.

The victim said that the 34-year-old had previously asked her for sexual suggestive images with her and asked if she was sexually active.

The document says the man told the victim to wear the underwear, and she started in her room. The man followed him inside the room.

The victim told the police that he did not know what to do and changed in front of him. The man then told her to lie on her bed and continued to reach her.

When the police started looking at Kniffen, they arrested him for another incident in Pocatello.

The manager of the transitional home unit in which the man lived told Kniffen officers told other residents about the relationship. He would have threatened other residents that he would kill her face and family if they went to the police.

A 34 -year -old forensic analysis caused the police to find more photos of the victim wearing underwear style.

The use of a program to find explicit materials showed 716 images that include nudity and 502 images of suspected explicit materials of children.

The document said that 30 images stood out at the police, because they “depicted” extremely young girls.

The officers have established that there is enough information between messages and images to arrest Kniffen.
