Woman Honeoye Falls arrested for shopping at Victor Walmart

A Honeoye Falls woman was arrested for Petit Laceny on Saturday afternoon, after trying to steal goods from Victor Walmart, according to the Sheriff’s office in Ontario.

The deputies responded to a sale complaint at the store, located at 441 Commerce Drive, at about 14:24 following an investigation, the authorities established that Yang Wang, aged 40, hid articles in her shopping cart, bypassed all the points of sale and failed to pay. The total value of the stolen goods was reported to be $ 379.06.

Wang was arrested without incident and subsequently released on a ticket. She is scheduled to respond to the accusation at Victor Town Court at a later date.
