Woman accused of killing the first degree after deputies find a dead person in the house

Whiting, Iowa (Kiv) – one person is dead, and another was accused after the deputies were called to a house in Monona County.

Veronica KLUGE from Whiting, aged fifty -four, was accused of a first -degree murder, after the Sheriff’s office in Monona County was called to a house in 16757 on the K42 County Highway.

The deputies were called at home at 12:05 am on Sunday, March 16, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office in Monona County.

The judicial documents reveal on Saturday, March 15, at 11:55 pm, KLUGE called 911, asking for an ambulance to come to home.

During the call with 911, the person on the phone acknowledged that he had killed a person.

When the Sheriff’s office in Monona County arrived on the spot, they found a 50 -year -old man, pronounced dead, as a result of a stabbed wound.

A joint investigation was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Public Security Department of Iowa and the Sheriff’s Office in Monona County.

KLUGE was arrested and transferred to the Sheriff’s office in Monona County, where he was later interviewed by law enforcement.

She was accused of murder in the first degree.
