An attempt to theft of cars was stopped by the response of the policemen who led to two short activities. One ended in a pit maneuver by Southfield Cruiser, while the other ended when the second vehicle was disabled trying to drive off-road.

“(These photos show) evidence of what we found inside the vehicle. As you can see, masked, gloves, all the tools used to hide its identity,” Barren said. “Because what we believe is that this is an organized ring, by theft of cars.”

Thursday, a resident called 911 to report suspects trying to enter Dodge Charger in 27000 block in Berkshire at 3:30 am

“The respondent officers noticed a suspect who ran out of the location,” Barren said. “They entered a White Mazda 2015, along with a Ford FDord Ford Ford Flation that morning on March 14. They seemed to act in the concert.”

The suspects inside the merger wore masks and officers driven in a short pursuit when he drove over the grass and rocks when the vehicle became disabled. The suspects from the inside went out and fled.

“So, remember, I had another chase in Southfield,” Barren said. “The officers also advised additional units that White Mazda, fled the location and turned north to Evergreen.”

Barren said that while running, driver Mazda made a sudden transformation in Kingswood Cherry condominiums, making “no attempt to stop or slow down,” he added.

The officer who followed then used a pit maneuver to hit the vehicle in the back corner panel, causing him to turn and become disabled. The suspects from the inside, Pitts and Harris, were on the front seats and were arrested at that time.

Pitts, who has an extended criminal historian, was accused of ravaging and riding a third degree, illegally removing a car and received and hid a motor vehicle and received a cash obligation of $ 50,000.

Harris was accused of illegally chasing a vehicle and received and hid a vehicle.

The 17 -year -old was processed and handed over to his parents. As a minor, his case will be managed by Wayne County, where he lives. The man in Atlanta issued a summons for providing a false name and resistance and obstruction.

“At this moment, we seek to determine if other people were involved, because there were more people who fled the vehicle,” Barren said.
