Abu Dhabi has launched an awareness campaign for prevention overcrowding in buildingsAs authorities increase on -site inspections to implement strict measures against rapists.

The campaign, called “Your House, your responsibility”, was launched by the Department of Municipalities and Transport to increase the awareness of both tenants and owners.

The tenants need to be careful to refrain from renting units with undisclosed contracts, to ensure that the rental properties are registered in the Tawtheeq system and that all cars are registered in their respective Mawaqif area.

Intense inspections concerning the non -compliant properties and residential units aim to identify several violations to prevent overcrowding, as well as the implementation of administrative sanctions and fines from 5,000 DH500,000 DH.
