Changes include the need for people who request benefits to provide proof of the internet identity for phone benefits. If someone “is not able to use the proof of the ID on the Internet, customers will be forced to visit a field office to provide identity documentation in person.”

Currently, social security applications and identity verification can be done by phone, thanks to the personnel responding to calls to his number without tax.
