Spring experience break will make Rogers style at Claremore Museum

Spring break at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum offers children a unique opportunity to connect with your favorite son in Oklahoma.

The Museum in Claremore is a division of the historical society in Oklahoma and is dedicated to collecting, conserving and sharing the history of the author, philosopher and movie star Will Rogers, originally from Oklahoma. During the spring break, the museum and all its activities are free for children under 17.

An extraordinary life

Will Rogers was born on November 4, 1879 and grew up on a farm in Oologh. He started like a cowhand and continued to become a stage and film star and an aviation lawyer.

Rogers was also known for his ability to have fun in prominent figures and social problems in a way that resonated with people. During the spring break at the museum, each planned activity is based on an aspect of Rogers’s life.

Spring break activities

The Will Rogers Memorial Museum has a week full of planned activities between March 17-21. The full program includes:

  1. Tuesday, March 18 -19th century Activities with Hands -on historians, such
  2. Wednesday, March 19 – Aviation Day showing a Make Your Paper Paper followed by a contest at 14:30, a flight simulator and a visit from an Evac helicopter
  3. Thursday, March 20 – The Day of Filici with the Flowers and the show of the small rascals at 13:15 and a movie poster with Studio B works
  4. Friday, March 21 – Talented FroLic show mid -after -Amiez from 1:00 pm to sign up for your visit The museum site.
