A Hockey doctor in Metro Detroit has not pleaded for 28 charges of sexual conduct, many of them related to teenage boys, reports the Prosecutor in Oakland County.

Dr. Zvi Levran, 68, from Farmington Hills, entered the pleading on Tuesday at the detailed accusations in four separate cases at the Circuit Court in Oakland.

The prosecutor’s announcement stated that it was not the reason for the competition at 11 charges of criminal sexual conduct, the fourth degree, 10 accusations of third -degree criminal conduct, three charges of criminal sexual conduct, in the second, two accusations of sexual abusive materials for children and two charges of sexual activity.

The conviction is scheduled for April 29 at the Circuit Court of Oakland.

Most accusations are related to incidents of sexual abuse of teenage boys, many of whom have met while providing medical assistance to young hockey teams.

First charges in the investigation were submitted in 2022.

“This guilty plea responds to Zvi Levran for his crimes and offers justice for his victims,” ​​said Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald in Tuesday’s announcement. “Today’s result ensures that Levran’s victims will not be re-traumatized by the burden of testimony to the trial. They also exempt another uncertainty about the result of this case. The victims have been heard, and their stories have been believed.”

Each number of third grade criminal conduct, which is the most severe charges in the investigation, is punished by up to 15 years in prison.

“The criminal prosecution intends to ask the court a maximum punishment,” the statement said.
