Heiskanen could go out through the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs

Dallas – Miro Heiskanen may not be prepared for Dallas stars until the beginning of the Stanley Cup playoff, coach Pete Deboer said on Tuesday.

Dallas (42-21-3) hosts on Tuesday Anaheim Ducks Tuesday (8 PM et; Victory+, Victory+, Kc-13) after losing his last two games (0-1-1). The stars are in second place in the central division, two points before the avalancy in Colorado.

There are 10-4-2 without Heiskan, but two of these losses were in Colorado (4-3 in extensions on Sunday) and on the first place Winnipeg Jets (4-1 Friday).

“We will receive Colorado, Winnipeg, someone really good in the first round (of playoffs}; this is given,” said Deboer. “On paper, we will have similar lines to whom we play. So, that chemistry, that the team’s identity, all those things you try to stretch, because we do not hope to separate you from a year.

The stars made several movements to raise their list of key players like Heiskanen and striker Tyler Seguin, who had a hip surgery. December 4. Defender Cody Ceci and striker Mikael Granlund were acquired in a trade in San Jose on February 1, before Dallas gave Mikko Rentanen from Carolina Hurricanes on March 7.

Rentanen signed an eight -year contract on the same day, $ 96 million ($ 12 million annual value).

Deboer said Seguin appears to be about to return for playoffs. Seguin had 20 points (nine goals, 11 assistants) in 19 games this season before injury.

The stars play their end of the regular season on April 16 at Nashville Predators.

“(He) skating regularly, looking good on all projections (Will) to return until the end of the year,” Deboer said about Seguin. “He works his tail to return.”
