“Integrate the techniques of investigating crime”

The director of forensic services, Meenaki Mahajan, encouraged medical experts today to integrate AI methodologies for analyzing modern crime cases, adding that you would significantly improve the forensic efficiency and revolutionize crime investigations.

She said this in a day training program regarding the “forensic artificial intelligence-a future roadmap to the criminal investigation” that was organized at the Directorate of Legal Services, Junga.

A spokesman for the Department of Criminal Services said that the program has provided information on AI applications in forensic science and highlights its role in cyber analysis, facial recognition, digital forensics, speech analysis, documents checking, fingerprint analysis and DNA matching. He said that AI methods could increase precision and efficiency in crime investigations.

The spokesman also said that the training program will serve as a vital platform for equipping criminal professionals with advanced AI-based techniques, still strengthening the forensic capabilities in the state.
