EPD responds to accidental shootings on Meadowridge RD.

Evansville, Ind. (Wfie) – Officials of the Evansville Police Department say they reported to a firing blow, Tuesday night.

According to a police report, the officers were sent with reference to a fire shot in block 4200 of Meadowridge Road around 10:45 pm

Upon arrival, the officers were informed that the victim’s husband was cleaning his weapon when he had an accidental discharge and shot the victim.

The victim was transported to Diaconss Midtown Hospital.

This is an ongoing investigation.
