King Charles and Queen Camilla Pop de Belfast to drink some whiskey

King Charles and Queen Camilla He paid a surprise visit to Northern Ireland on Wednesday, where they drank whiskey and visited the heart of the Belfast City Center.

The trip was announced only by the Buckingham Palace today, with commitments kept under a strict embargo. Several streets in the area were closed due to a heavy police presence before the royal visit. Charles and Camilla last visited Belfast in 2023, following the coronation in May, when they visited Armagh and Fisanagh.

Charles and Camilla, who are carefully prepared for a tour of Italy next month, have visited the city to meet representatives of tourism, hospitality and arts. The king also had an audience with the Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, Michelle O’Neill.

Their first stop was the Commercial Court, located in one of the oldest cobbled alleys in the city and was recently voted one of the most beautiful streets in the country. On arrival, the king and the queen, who were dressed in green, were greeted by the primary lord Micky MurrayHigh sheriff Fiona Mcateer and parliamentarian John Finucane. Charles and Camilla were eager to talk to business owners and find out more about what tourists brings to the historical part of the city.
