Woman accused after 15 found dogs living in dirt, feces covered the floors, say deputies

Henderson County, NC (Fox Carolina) – the Sheriff’s office in Henderson County said that a woman was accused of cruelty of criminal animals, after deputies confiscated 15 dogs found in deplorable conditions.

On March 5, the deputies were called to report three dogs Saint Bernard running around the horse shoe area. Once they found dogs, the owner, Stacy Rose, was contacted to come to recover the animals.

The deputies said that due to the state of the canines, they went home for the investigation.

Once they arrived, she led the deputies to a shed in which the three dogs were kept in deplorable conditions, feces covering the floor, deputies said.

The deputies said they found seven dead canines in garbage bags, most of them showed signs of severe decomposition.

Rose surrendered the three Saint Bernards before deputies were looking inside her house and finding more dogs being kept in conditions similar to The Shed, according to the sheriff’s office.

The deputies issued a search warrant and found 10 canines in the house and five in the yard.

Rose was arrested for 15 accusations of cruelty of criminal animals, the failure of the offenses to bury the deceased canine and the resistance to a public crime.

Rose was arrested and received a guaranteed obligation at $ 126,500. The deputies said that since then it was released.
