Woman accused of a lover who followed after separation, Sarasota police say

Sarasota, Fla. (WWSB)-a 19-year-old woman from Venice was arrested after Police Sarasota said she was following her ex-boyfriend after breaking up with her.

The police were called to a house on March 26, after a man said that his former girlfriend, Riley Lutman, poured paint, sardines and confetti on the truck of her ex -boyfriend, as well as on the cars of her friends.

The victim told the police that Lutman called and sent him on a message over 150 times over a four -hour period from several phone numbers.

After watching the call journals and the text provided by the victim, the Sarasota police said he contacted the Venice police, which arrested Lutman at home and took him to the prison in Sarasota county.

Lutman was accused of aggravated cyberstalking.
