Conditions of judgments in court Southern Carolina residents for the Hispanic aim of robberies

Colombia, SC – three men and a woman from South Carolina received sentences for violent crimes targeting Hispanic people in Colombia, South Carolina. Charles Antonio Clippard, 27, was sentenced to 420 months; Michael Joseph Knox, 29, received 303 months; Gabriel Brunson, 21, received 100 months; And Sierra Fletcher, 34, was sentenced to 200 months.

These persons have previously admitted the guilt for accusations, including carjacking, conspiracy, firearms and violation of criminal civil rights. At the beginning of 2021, they conspired to plunder Hispanic victims, approaching the gas stations and food stores, following them later and robbing them at the point of arms in their residences or other locations. On January 30, 2021, the group committed an armed robbery and carjacking against a Hispanic victim, which they followed and targeted her at home. Additional incidents that day involved the carjacking of another victim and an invasion at home, which led to cash thefts, mobile phones, driving licenses and credit cards.

The announcement of these sentences was made by the Deputy General Prosecutor, Mac Warner, from the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice,
