Suspected arrested; Accused of burglary at home in Palm Dessert

Palm Dessert, California (Kesq) – Sheriff’s deputies in Riverside County were called just before 12:30 Wednesday morning to analyze a report of a suspicious person trying to open the front door of a house in the University Park on Cook Street in Palm Dessert.

The deputies looked for the area and detained a suspect they describe as a 21 -year -old transient from desert springs.

The deputies add that, after looking further, they discovered an unreported residential burglary and identified the suspect they held earlier as a suspect.

The male suspect was arrested and reserved in the John Benoit detention center, accused of burglary. He stays in prison and is going to appear in court on Friday.
