Drivers advised them to avoid N3 near Warden due to truck accident

Johannesburg – N3 near Warden in the free state remains closed due to an accident on the route Thursday morning.

Two trucks collided on the route between Johannesburg and Durban.

Both drivers were taken to the nearest hospital.

The spokesman of the N3 concession, Thania Dhograph, warned the drivers to expect continuous delays.

“Both modes of transport of the N3 charging route are affected in the area, and road users are advised to delay travel, if possible. Cleaning and recovery operations are underway, but they are complicated by the extremely flammable product, which has been transported.”
