Investigations on the aggravated burglary in TIPP

Guarda in the functional area of ​​involvement of the Tippery South community performed an operation with several agencies on Wednesday and Thursday, as part of the investigations in progress of an aggravated burglary incident and criminal damages by the fire that took place in Clonmel, on March 18. The operation is supported by the members of the army, at the national parks and at the service of wild animals, ISPCA and customs and in progress.

During the operation, seven people were arrested and detained under the suspicion of serious crimes. Seven were now accused of appearing before the Cashel district court later on Thursday.

In addition to arrests, Gardaí also searched for a series of internal spaces and confiscated a quantity of drugs, weapons and stolen properties, as well as eight dogs in relation to animal welfare offenses.
