Man found guilty that he had sexually assaulted 9 -year -olds

Honolulu (Hawaiinewsnow)-Following an eight-day process, an Oahu jury found a man guilty of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old child.

Jose Salas was arrested in Pearl City in 2019.

The judicial documents say that the attack has happened continuously over several months.

Salas was convicted of continuous sexual assault of a minor under the age of fourteen, a class A crime, together with four charges of sexual aggression in the third degree, Class Crimes C.

Salas faces a maximum term of 20 years in prison with the possibility of conditional freedom.

He is scheduled to be convicted in July.
