Jaya Subang, April 5 – Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, announced today that 400 families affected by Putra Heights Gas Pipeline fire received each RM3,000 – 300 from the founder of the Berjaya group, Tan Vincent Tan and 100 from the real estate company Matrix Concepts Holdings.

He added that the Electronic Car Carsome trade company offers victims 50 vehicles for free use, with 20 delivered today and 30 other sets that will be delivered next week.

“I would like to express my gratitude to several corporate companies that were presented to provide the victims of the fire in Putra Heights,” reporters told when he met at an aid ceremony today.

“Many corporate companies have taken a step forward to help, demonstrating the strong spirit of cooperation among the Malaysians.”

He added that 63 new motorcycles will be sponsored to replace those destroyed in the incident, with the surrender and registration for next months.

“This shows that there is a substantial support from private companies, which complete the assistance provided by the government,” he said.

He continued to assure the victims that the government will help to rebuild the houses considered “total losses” and that additional ads will be made in this regard.

“While the process will take some time, our immediate priority is to mitigate their pregnancy, which is why corporate aid is directly accelerated to victims,” ​​Loke said.

The fire of the Putra Heights gas pipeline broke out on the morning of April 1, sending flames over 30 meters in the air and reaching temperatures of 1,000 degrees Celsius.

Emergency respondents were needed for almost eight hours to completely extinguish the fire, which left 87 houses completely destroyed and damaged 148.
