The teenager killed in the tape bumps while arresting the police

A violent confrontation between the rival youth gangs in April 4, 2025, led to the tragic death of an 18 -year -old, identified as Bakura Muhammed.

The incident took place around 4:30 pm in the neighborhoods of Ajari and Tashan Lara.

The situation was quickly climbed into a chaotic struggle that involves more young people.

During the collision, Bakura suffered a fatal injury in the stomach. He was in a hurry by security operators from the Borno State Police Command at the Teaching Hospital of the University of Maiduguri, where the doctors confirmed his death.

Police sources confirmed to Zagazola Makama that seven suspects, between the ages of 15 and 24, were detained in relation to violence. Among those arrested are Ba’abba Kyari (20 years), Ali Alhaji Goniali (20 years), Muhammed Audu (18), Ali Isa (15), Adam Sabir (15), Mohammed Tujja (17) and USMAN KASIM (24).

Efforts are ongoing to follow the additional band members who have fled the stage during the altercation.

Bakura’s remnants were deposited in the hospital morgue for an autopsy before being taught for his family in accordance with Islamic habits.
