3 teenagers arrested under suspicion of theft

Three teenagers were arrested after driving the police Cajon in a chase that ended about an hour later, when the driver lost control of the car in Chula Vista, the authorities said.

The incident began when the Police El Cajon was notified of a 2013 Hyundai Elantra by the system of reading the registration plates shortly after 1:30 AM, Lt said. Mike Murphy.

The police followed the car for about five minutes, then completed the pursuit, because the driver was driving too quickly, Murphy said. The helicopter of a sheriff followed the car movements for about an hour while he continued to drive and headed south.

Finally, the driver lost control and stopped on the Sweetwater Road from Chula Vista, reaching a wooden pillar that prevented the driver from getting out of the car.

The driver, a 15 -year -old boy, was arrested while trying to escape through the passenger door. Two other passengers in the car, a 15 -year -old boy and a 16 -year -old boy, were detained while trying to run.

Adolescents were arrested under the suspicion of car theft and holding stolen properties. The driver was also arrested under the suspicion that he stole the arrest and disregard of the desire for safety, the police said.

The driver and a passenger with previous antecedents were reserved in the minor hall, while the other passenger was released to a parent.
