Local bus driver accused of having “inappropriate contact” with the online group

Officials with Richland School District say that a local bus driver is under investigation, after he was supposed to have engaged in improper contact with an online teaching group, which was supposed to be presented as a minor.

The officials of the district say that the driver, who has not yet been identified, was “eliminated from their duties” by the bus company, Mlaker Transport, “Awaiting the outcome of the investigation”.

According to a district press release, the school officials were aware of the accusations on Tuesday, when the school immediately contacted the Richland Police.

Authorities say that the driver was supposed to have been in contact with members of the predatory captors of the oil city and that there is no alleged victim.

The safety and welfare of our students remain our biggest priority and we want to ensure our parents and the community that we take these accusations very seriously. The district fully cooperates with the application of the law and will continue to do so during the investigation. It is essential to remember that the driver, as any person, is supposed to be innocent until he proves to be guilty in a court.
