Uttar Pradesh: The accident took place on Tuesday, when a car carrying passengers from the Jhansi bus to the cities collided with a truck near the village of Bachhawali.

Uttar Pradesh: Two people were killed and six injured when a car collided with a truck next to a village here, on the Kanpur road, police said on Wednesday. The accident took place on Tuesday evening (February 25), when a car carrying passengers from the Jhansi bus to the cities collided with a truck that was approaching near the village of Bachhawali.

Another truck that approached the back also entered the car, said Alok Kumar, the circle officer (Sadar).

Neetu (38 years old) and Sarabh (37) died on the spot, while six others suffered. The wounded were in a hurry at a medical college for treatment, Kumar said. The police added the bodies for the post-mortem, and the additional investigations are in progress, the police added.
