Fire at Adger Home leaves a 66 -year -old man dead

A 66-year-old man was killed in a fire at an ad.

According to the coroner’s office in Jefferson County, the firefighters from Concord, Birmingport and Warrior were sent to 10:23 on Tuesday at the residence in block 102000 in Camp Oliver Road.

Two people managed to escape, but reported that a person was still inside.

Once the fire was extinguished, the firefighters found the man inside. He was pronounced dead on the spot at 14:03

His identity is retained waiting for his family’s notification.

Alabama State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
