American Sanctions Online Darknet’s online market, tied to fentanel sales

Washington (DPA-AFX)-United States have imposed Behroz Parsarad sanctions, based in Iran, Nemesis administrator, a Darknet online market, which was subjected to an international law enforcement operation and was eliminated in 2024.

The drugs of drugs and cybernetics open openly with drugs and illegal services on Nemesis, which has been designed with features of washing the incorporated money. Nemesis has had over 30,000 active users and 1,000 sellers and facilitated the sale of drugs worth nearly $ 30 million between 2021 and 2024, including to the United States, according to the Treasury Office for Foreign Assets Control.

“As administrator of Nemesis Darknet, Parsarad has sought to build and continue to restore a safe refuge to facilitate the production, sale and shipment of illegal narcotics such as Fentanil and other synthetic opioids,” Bradley T. Smith said.

This marks the first designation of OFAC sanctions as a member of the common interaction opioid team, led by FBB, Opioid and Darknet Enforcement (JCODE).
