Deputies in Washoe County are arrests theft suspects near Gerlach

Gerlach, nev. (Kolo) – Two burglary suspects are under arrest after they were arrested in the north of Washoe.

Washoe County Sheriff says that deputies responded to a Gerlach house, on a report of suspicious activity on a man’s property, on Friday, March 7th.

This man told the deputies that he had faced a woman named Emily Hamilton and a man named Anthony Messmann after finding her property.

It seems that Messmann took off on foot before the deputies arrival, and Hamilton was found by deputies in a truck immobilized on the spot.

When the deputies looked for that truck, they found burglary tools, 3 weapons and objects that were stolen from the victim.

Hamilton was arrested and reserved under charges of residential burglary, attempted residential burglary and holding a controlled substance below 14 grams.

The deputies located on Saturday Messmann, when he was going to High Rock Road. He was arrested without incident and reserved under charges of residential burglary, attempted residential burglary and being a forbidden person in possession of a firearm.
