Dog owner is facing charges after attack on 8 -year -old boy from Columbus

Columbus, Ohio (WSYX) – The owner of a dog involved in an attack on an 8-year-old boy from North Linden faces a series of charges, according to judicial documents.

The incident took place ten days ago on Hiawatha Street, when Columbus Police received several 911 calls about Two pits attacking a child.

The 8 -year -old was identified as Oscar Koon.

The camera films wore by the Columbus Police Department on Wednesday showed the officer who responded on Wednesday shooting both Pituri. One of the dogs died on the spot, while the other was later euthanized.

“The child is badly confused,” said the paramedic officer on their arrival. “They put him in a crusade and took him to children (hospital).”

The family of the 8 -year -old said he is now suffering from severe facial deformations as a result of the attack.
