Palm desert theft suspect was arrested four years after alleged incident

Palm Dessert, California (Kesq) – A suspect who would have hurt a resident during a 2021 burglary was in arrest today.

The officials received a report of a residential interruption near the 72000 block of Mesa View Drive, at 4:00, August 15, 2021, according to a statement of the Sheriff Department of Riverside.

The suspect “went into the residence several times while the victims were sleeping” to steal the property, assumed that he led to a physical altercation that injured a resident after that person woke up, according to the department.

After the report reported, the suspect fled and was not located immediately, according to the statement.

The suspect, a 38 -year -old man from Indio, was recently identified as a suspect, reported the department. The staff from several law enforcement agencies and investigated the suspect at 13:00 on Thursday, in the 45000 block of Palmwood Court, according to the statement.

Officials said that the deputies tried to successfully stop traffic and, after a pursuit, Hernandez was “detained without incidents”.

The suspect was reserved in the detention center Robert Presley under the suspicion of invasion at home and residential theft, according to the department.
