Man survives after Rod Rod Pierce Skull in Malaysian motorcycle accident

Petalling Jaya-a 56-year-old man narrowed from death when an iron rod pierced the skull after his motorcycle skidded in Sik, Kedah.

Daily Malay Sinar Harian reported that Mr. Azlan Mahmood was seriously injured after an accident at Kampung Bukit Hangus, Jalan Jereri, on the morning of March 15th.

The superintendent of firefighters chief of firefighters and rescue Sik, Mohd Jamil Mat, said they received an emergency call before sending members on the spot.

“Upon arrival, firefighters found the victim seriously injured, with an iron rod that enters the face to the head,” he said.

The first aid was granted before Mr. Azlan was taken to the SIK hospital by a Yayasan Jariah Malaysia ambulance.

He added that a surgery to remove the iron rod was performed at Sik Hospital, and Mr. Azlan remained under medical supervision.

“The operation to remove the 0.6 cm rod using special equipment was successfully completed at 12.05 PM,” said Mohd Jamil.

“The victim was then taught at the hospital for additional treatment,” he added. Star/Asia news network
