According to Malappuram sp R. Vishwanath, the stolen gold – which was in 117 sovereigns – was stolen by Sivesh’s brother, Bensil and his friend Shiju. Subsequent investigations have discovered that Sivesh has already been accused of four criminal cases, including a POCSO case.

Initially, The Heist was reported as a reinforced robbery by two bicycle attackers, who would have snatched the gold while it was transported for sale.

However, the inconsistencies in Sivesh’s statements have led the police to further question him. During the interrogation, the officers discovered his criminal fund, which determined a deeper probe.

Sivesh, who worked at the three -month jewelry store, would have planned the robbery by choosing a less crowded time, especially around Iftar.
