Coroner: 1 dead after conway crash

Conway, SC (WMBF) – A man is dead after a car accident Sunday morning.

Deputy chief coroner Tamara Willard identified the man like Robin Richardson, 40 years old in Conway.

The forensic office said that Richardson was driving on Beverly Road at 7:30 AM when he lost control of the car, hitting a fence and mailbox.

The car overturned several times before ejecting on Richardson.

Authorities said Richardson was taken to Conway Medical Center and was pronounced dead around 8:30

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
