A man arrested after a teenager was found dead on the edge of a road earlier this month is now accused of sexually abusing minor.

Jonson Temaj, 15 years old, was found unanswered on a sidewalk in New Rochelle, NY, in the morning of February 6, Local Police said in a statement at the time. He was pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital.

The next day, the investigators arrested Hugo Perez-Gabriel, 32 years old, and a 16-year-old boy in relation to his murder, within the statement from the New Rochelle Police Department. The 16-year-old who is not called, is the nephew of Perez-Gabriel, the police said, per Pix 11.

Initially, the two were accused of hiding a corpse among other crimes. On Saturday, February 22, the Westchester district prosecutor accused Perez-Gabriel of sexual assault of a minor about the photos he would have asked for the victim.

It is assumed that Perez-Gabriel sought sexual content from Jonson over WhatsApp just days before the teenager was found dead, the DA office said.

Jonson would have sent two videos to the suspect “engaging in a sexual performance”, on the DA desk.

Jonson is an originally from Guatemala that has moved to the US “for a better future”, according to a GoFundme Established to help his family with funeral costs and to turn his body back to his family.

“He was a bright and kind young man, full of dreams, and his life was taken too soon,” he read some of the fundraising.

Lived with his uncle, Mynor Temaj, who had previously said CBS News That he was at work when he believes that Jonson was dead.

“I tried to call him, then he didn’t pick up the phone. And I tried to call other friends and wonder if it’s true, and they said yes,” Mynor said on an outlet.

“One of the dreams (Jonson) was to open their own business,” said the victim’s uncle.

Perez-Gabriel was accused of a number of hiding a corpse, two charges of using a child in a sexual performance, two charges of disseminating indecent materials and two accusations to have obscene sexual performance by a Child, according to online judicial records analyzed by people.

The information on plea was not available in the judicial records. People addressed the Office of Defense Lawyer listed in the judicial documents.
