ARKANSAS RAORBACKS coaches provide a progress report on Adou Thiero’s injury

ARKANSAS RAORBACKS coaches provide a progress report on Adou Thiero’s injury

Fayetteville, Ark. – Adou Thiero, the Junior striker Al Arkansas, suffered a late injury in the second half of Victoria Raorbacks in front of Saturday in Missouri.

Coach John Calipari mentioned at his Postgame press conference that Thiero aggravated his back, but did not offer any additional update. His status remained questionable for Wednesday’s match against Texas, according to his radio show Monday night.

“With adou Thiero, we try to figure out if he can play or not,” Calipari said.

The point of 6 meters-8, 220 pounds was a star during the third year in the Calipari system. Thiero has an average of over 16 points, six recovery, two thefts and two assistants this season, which are all high career notes.

Its potential availability is huge for Arkansas, given that its rotation would be reduced to seven if it were indeed outside. Assistant coach Chuck Martin met on Tuesday morning with reporters and shared an encouraging update on Thiero’s status.

– (Thiero) just taking him day by day, said Martin. “Taking a day by day and seeing how it improves.”

In an attempt to get more information, Martin assured that Thiero reporters make their progress “slowly”.

“(Staff) try to make sure we put it in the best possible position to continue to improve.”

Thiero was in second place in the team in score with 14 in a victory over Texas in Austin. He also contributed five recovery.

Whether it appears in the dry crucial game of Wednesday night at Bud Walton against Longhorns seems to be a game of time.
