Colchester police recover stolen firearms, arrest 3 in case of burglary

Colchester – Colchester Police Department has responded to a residential stealing report to a Walden Road address at about 11:02, Monday.

The officers have established that several firearms, ammunition and other properties were stolen from the residence.

The authorities have gathered information about a vehicle used in the crime and issued an alert “Be on the lookout” to the application agencies.

Around 2:01 pm, the Burlington Police Department located the suspected vehicle at a Hildered Drive home complex.

Subsequent research caused officers to identify two locations in Burlington – one on Hildred Drive and another on Hillside Terrace – connected to burglary.

The police have executed simultaneous search warrants at both addresses, recovering 11 firearms, ammunition and other stolen properties.

Three people have been arrested and are facing charges of burglary, holding of stolen properties and conspiracy.

Police identified him as Korey Koch, 35, Eugene Streeter, 39, and Dustin Dexter, 34, all from Burlington.

The suspects have been issued under release conditions and are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Colchester police were assisted on the spot by the Burlington Police Department, the Winooski Police Department and the police services at Vermont University.
