Melaka, February 26-Post-mortem Analysis identified 14 stabbed wounds and the cause of a part-time singer, whose corpse was found at a house in Taman Seri Mangga, section 1, Malim, here, last Sunday.

The head of Melaka Tongah, ACP, Christopher Passit, said the police received a full post-mortem report on the woman’s body, which is believed to have been killed on February 24 by forensic medical experts at Melaka Hospital. .

“Experts confirmed that the deceased suffered 14 stabbed wounds; Three on the face, five on the chest, five on the left forearm and the left hand and one on the right calf.

“There were also slash wounds on the deceased’s chest and left hand and bruises on the left side of the forehead during the external examination of the victim,” he said in a statement here today.

He added that an internal examination of the victim’s body revealed a fatal injury – a stinging wound on the left chest, which pierced the second intercostal aorta and went to the ascending aorta.

“This led to severe bleeding and the accumulation of blood in the Heart Sac, eventually leading to death. The post-mortem confirmed that the fatal wound of the aorta sting was the cause of death.

“The forensic expert has also established that the victim has been died over 24 hours before post-mortem examination,” he said.

He added that the case is investigated in accordance with section 302 of the Criminal Code for murder.

Previously, the media reports said that the woman was found lying on a bed in a blood pool, which is believed to have been stabbed, in the bedroom of a house terraced in Taman Mangga last Sunday. – Bernama
