A five-year-old child suffered serious injuries after being driven by a car while playing in a company in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

The driver’s woman fled from the scene after the incident that took place in the SG Grand Society, located in the expansion of Rajendra Nagar in Ghaziabad, on February 24, around 4.30 pm.

The whole incident, which was caught on the CCTV installed in the society, showed a white Honda City car entering the society and running over the child, playing on campus with other children.

The front wheel of the vehicle ran on the body of the child. Despite the suffering of severe wounds, the child miraculously survived.

Filming showed that the driver, identified like Sandhya, stopped his car briefly and went out to check the child. However, she fled from the spot to the next moment.

After the incident, the child’s father filed a complaint with the Nandgram police station. The child suffered serious injuries, including a fractured right thigh bone, along with multiple wounds on the right hand, left foot and back, reported India today.

Currently, the minor receives treatment at the hospital in Atlanta in Vasundhara.

A case was submitted in sections 281 and 125b of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (NBS) against the woman’s driver. Additional research in this regard is in progress.
