The man who read accused in the fight that led to the accidental shooting of minors

A 23-year-old reading man faces charges from a January fight in which he scored and threw a gun that was raised by a victim and later accidentally discharged into an apartment in the city, hitting a minor.

Victor Curbelo-Cedeno in the 200 Block in North Fourth Street was notified by District Judge Gail Greth on Tuesday in the Central Reading court, under the charge of aggravated aggression with a deadly weapon, holding a crime tool, conspiracy, disordered conduct, harassment and two charges of a simple attack.

He remained freely waiting for an additional judicial action.

According to the police:

Curbelo-Cedeno was involved in a fight on January 20 around 2:15 pm, near Perkiomen Avenue and Franklin Street.

According to victims and witnesses, two women were attacked by a group of men and women. One of the victims had a continuous dispute with one of the female attackers.

During the fight that followed, Curbelo-Cedeno pulled out a gun and pointed it to one of the victims. He also hit the victim with the weapon.

Along with the marking of weapons, Curbelo-Cedeno was seen hitting victims during the fight.

One of the victims of the fight suffered cuts on the face, a swollen eye, arm cuts and a crushed finger. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

At one point, during the incident, Curbelo-Cedeno threw the weapon and one of the victims raised it and fled with it in an apartment in the first block in South 11th Street.

At the apartment, the victim threw the gun and downloaded, hitting a minor.

The victim of the shot was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The minor’s condition was not available immediately.

Along with Curbelo-Cedeno, two others face accusations in attack.

Skyra Gonzalez, 21 years old, from Reading and Lillie Daniels-Wright, 21, from Denver each were accused in January with two charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. Their cases are pending.
