NJ City disconnects human police brutality process for $ 150 million

The city of Rahway agreed with a solution of $ 150,000 in a process filed by a local who claimed that the police officers were assaulted in his house during a 2014 attack, according to judicial documents.

Junior Abreu and his wife, Maribel Abreu, sued the Rahway Police Department, the city and several officers, supporting excessive strength, wrong arrest and violations of civil rights. The trial, initially filed in the state court in 2016, was subsequently moved to the federal court.

City officials did not respond immediately to a comment request on Wednesday. Lawyers representing Abreus did not comment on the resolution.
