Penn State Standout, the best prospect in the NFL project, Abdul Carter has stress reaction in the foot

Penn State Nittany Lions Star Defensive End Abdul Carter has a stress reaction in the right foot, according to Adam Scheftter from ESPN.

The stress reaction was found after Carter was subjected to medical tests on Wednesday. Carter is in Indianapolis participating in both Medical tests and interviews With potential teams, but it does not work this week, because it continues to recover from a serious shoulder injury suffered in the college football playoff. He was expected to attend exercises at Pro Penn State at the end of March.

Carter’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told Scheftter that the defensive end receives “mixed opinions” about whether or not injury will require surgery, but it is expected that a decision will be taken soon.

If Carter chooses to have the operation, he will have to have a screw inserted into the right foot, and the recovery time would be eight weeks, on Rosenhaus. If he opts to jump the operation, Carter’s Pro day will become even more important for the passing step, because he will have to prove that he is healthy.

Carter was a consensual all-American selection last season, after registering 68 combined approaches, which included 24 approaches for losses and 12.0 bags. He also defended four passes and forced two fum.
