After five years of legal procedures, a resolution between the actor and a member of the Kangana Ranaut and the Lyricist writer Javed Akhtar was eventually reached. The agreement was made on Friday in front of a Court magistrate in Bandra, Mumbai, Friday.

Both Akhtar and Ranaut arrived at the court of Magistrate Bandra around 10:30 and entered the Chamber of Magistrate Ashish Awari, accompanied by their lawyers, Jay K Bharadwaj and Rizwan Siddiquee.

After an hour in the room, the lawyers went out to get some works to record Ranaut and Akhtar’s statements.

According to the statements, Akhtar and Ranaut agreed to withdraw the causes of defamation they deposited against each other. At the exit of the court, Javed Akhtar said: “After all these years, the problems are eventually solved. He asked for apologies for all the inconveniences caused by me. I will take my case back and she will take her case. “

In the last five years, Akhtar diltered almost all the hearings in his case against Ranaut, waiting for his turn with other disputes. He also appeared in the witness box where his statement was registered, as Ranaut was.

On an easier note, when Akhtar was asked if he was in peace after solving, he smiled and replied: “Now I will raise a new problem.”

The legal dispute between Ranaut and Akhtar dates from a meeting at Akhtar’s residence, in March 2016. At that time, Ranaut and actor Hrithik Roshan were dressed in a public space over e -mail. Akhtar, it seems to be close to the Roshan family, took it himself to intervene and asked Ranaut to apologize to Roshan.

Ranaut did not answer immediately. However, in 2020, following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Ranaut discussed the 2016 meeting with Akhtar during a television interview. Akhtar found the comments made during the defamatory interview and subsequently filed a defamation against it.

The legal dispute intensified when Ranaut had a contract against Akhtar, claiming that he tried to force her to apologize under undue pressure. This procedure against Akhtar has since been left by the Court of Dindoshi sessions.

Kangana Ranaut, in her statements, said that the entire incident of her agreement gave the interview against Akhtar because of a misunderstanding.
