Residents of West Los Angeles on the edge after the empty man attacks a 63 -year -old woman outside his house

West Los Angeles (KABC) – Inhabitants of West Los Angeles live with fear after an empty man attacked a 63 -year -old woman outside of her house.

Many are now afraid to go out.

“I didn’t even know she was assaulted here and it was a scary kind of just a few apartment buildings down. You have to be cautious when you go on one side of the street and I think it is uncertain,” said Rozlon Bradley, the resident.

The terrible scene happened on Thursday afterwards a site on a site on the 2400 block of Barry Avenue.

The nearby workers heard the desperate screams of the help of help and immediately hurried to help.

“He came from behind her. He is above her. It’s completely empty,” said Rick Dreyfus, a general contractor.

Dreyfus witnessed the terrifying scene.

“So at that moment when I took off, the next thing I saw was running on the street naked trying to get in a car,” said Dreyfus.

The police arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect.

LAPD said the man also assaulted a 3-year-old in a nearby elevator before attacking the woman.

Residents and workers said that a shelter -free camp nearby caused a lot of people to fear their safety.

“We complained to the city and we told the city that it is a bad situation for months. There are drugs, there are fires and there is a dog that they hit. It is extremely violent,” said dreyfus.

The area is the district of the Traci Park counselor, and its spokesman said LAPD told them that the suspect is not homeless and is not involved in the camp.
