Pair arrested after armed robbery – WRBI Radio

(Aurora, In) – Two people were arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a general dollar store near Aurora.

It was on February 14, when a man armed with a knife robbed the store on the Gatch Hill Road from the US 50.

The sheriff in Dearborn County, Shane Mchenry, says that a review of the surveillance video of a neighbor determined the vehicle investigators that are believed to have been used in the robbery.

Mchenry says the vehicle was stolen from the HillCrest Motel near the US 50.

Investigators say video surveillance has shown that a man identified as Robert Harden III, 27, from Aurora, stole the vehicle.

He had been employed and resident of the motel, but had not been seen for several days before the robbery.

The police pulled the vehicle in Lexington, Kentucky, February 18, with Harden inside, along with Samantha Brewer, 40 years old, from Lawrenceburg.

Sheriff’s detectives traveled to Lexington and met with Brewer and Harden.

Authorities say the investigation has established that Brewer and Harden have traveled in the area of ​​the Dollar General.

Brewer was supposed to drive at the time of the robbery, but he told the detectives that he thought Hardin was meeting someone there to sell drugs.

Both Harden and Brewer are accused of armed robbery (helping, inducing or causing an offense); Conspiracy
to commit reinforced robbery (both level 3 offenses) and conspiracy for committing car theft (level 4 offense)

Harden also faces a burglary of a housing (level 4 offense).

Mchenry says the pair stays closed in Lexington.
